It also provides basic, image, protective, reflective, uniform, and casual workwear body protection products; body harness, hooks and connectors, lanyards, retractable fall arrester, rope grab and fall arrested, and work positioning fall protection products; and chin strap, inner fitting, safety cap and hood, safety helmet, and sweatband head protection products. In addition, the company generates power through windmills. It also exports its products. The company was formerly known as Acknit Knitting Limited. Acknit Industries Limited was incorporated in 1990 and is based in Kolkata, India.
